Frequently asked questions
Is the Leo a single or double pram?
The Leo is both. It starts as a premium single pram and converts into a full-sized double whenever your family grows. With over 48 configurations, it can adapt to one child, siblings or twins without needing to buy another pram.
Can the Leo convert to a double?
Yes. The Leo easily converts from a single to a full-sized double using a second seat or bassinet. Unlike many convertible prams, both seats are full-sized, giving each child plenty of room.
Is the Leo suitable for twins?
Yes. The Leo can be configured with two bassinets, two seats or a combination of a bassinet and seat, making it suitable for twins or children of different ages.
How many configurations does the Leo have?
The Leo offers more than 48 configurations, including single, double, twin, capsule and toddler board combinations, allowing it to adapt as your family’s needs change.
Can I use the Leo with three children?
Yes. Add the optional toddler board and the Leo can accommodate two children in the pram plus an older child riding on the board.
Is the Leo suitable from birth?
Yes. We recommend using the bassinet from birth until around 6 months, or until your baby can sit upright and support their own head. Because the Leo seat is a bucket-style seat, the bassinet is the safest option for newborns.
Do I need the bassinet?
Yes, for newborns we recommend using the Leo bassinet until approximately 6 months of age. The Leo seat does not lie completely flat like the Milo2, so the bassinet provides the safest and most comfortable environment during those early months.
Can the Leo bassinet be used overnight?
No. Like all pram bassinets sold in Australia, the Leo bassinet is not approved for overnight or unsupervised sleeping.
What type of family does the Leo suit?
Those wanting to future proof (see “Is future proofing right for my family”).
Those who will be doing their shopping with the pram rather than a trolley.
Those who will walk often on unsealed paths (the bigger wheels handle uneven terrain better).
Those who aren’t afraid of a bigger pram or lifting a heavier frame.
Is future proofing right for my family?
Liking the idea of not needing to buy a double layer plus enjoying a bigger basket and bigger wheels that will handle uneven terrain better? If you tick all the boxes bellow then future proofing is a great option for you:
• Able and don't mind lifting the heavier weight
• Your not a short person or if you are, you don't mind pushing a larger/taller pram
• Decent size boot that will accommodate pram + other bags/shopping/luggage
• You have enough room to store it at home (ideally leaving it set up).
How much weight can the Leo carry?
The Leo is built to grow with your family.
Each stroller seat supports up to 20kg
Bassinet supports up to 9kg
Basket holds up to 12kg
Shopper basket holds up to 8kg
This generous capacity means the Leo can comfortably carry everything from newborns through to toddlers, along with all your everyday essentials.
Is the Leo heavy?
The Leo is designed to balance durability with everyday usability. The frame weighs just 10kg, and the frame with one seat weighs 13.1kg, making it comparable to many premium convertible prams while offering the strength needed to comfortably carry one or two children. The lifting handles really help with weight distribution so although you’re lifting 10kg it is very manageable as the weight is distributed around your body and with the no-pinch handles it is not and awkward item to lift.
Is the Leo easy to fold?
Yes. The Leo features a compact fold for a convertible double pram, making it easy to store at home or fit into most car boots. It has been designed to make lifting and packing as simple as possible.
Will the Leo fit in my car?
The Leo has been tested in a wide range of popular Australian vehicles. The folded frame measures 87 × 59 × 43.5cm, allowing it to fit into many hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs. We recommend checking your boot dimensions if you’re unsure.
Can the Leo fit through standard doorways?
Yes. At 59cm wide, the Leo fits through standard residential and commercial doorways, making it easy to navigate shops, cafés and lifts.
Is the Leo suitable for rough terrain?
Yes. The Leo’s larger puncture-proof wheels and four-wheel suspension make it well suited to footpaths, parks, gravel tracks and uneven terrain while maintaining a smooth ride.
Is the Leo suitable for Australian footpaths and parks?
Absolutely. The Leo was designed by Australian parents for Australian conditions, with large maintenance-free wheels, generous suspension and a durable frame that handles everyday adventures with ease.
Can both seats recline independently?
Yes. Each seat reclines independently, allowing you to customise the position for each child. One child can be sitting upright while the other naps comfortably, making the Leo ideal for siblings with different routines.
Can both children face their parent?
Yes. One of the Leo’s biggest advantages is its flexibility. Both seats can be configured to face you, face forward, or face each other, depending on your children’s ages and your preferred setup. With over 48 configurations, you can tailor the pram to suit your family’s needs.
Can both seats face forward?
Absolutely. Both seats can be configured to face forward, giving curious toddlers the opportunity to explore the world while you’re out and about. The Leo also allows one seat to face you and the other to face forward if preferred.
Does the basket stay accessible in double mode?
Yes. The Leo features a large shopping basket that’s designed to remain practical and accessible, even when used in many double configurations. Depending on how your seats or bassinets are arranged, access may vary slightly, but the basket remains one of the largest in its class with a 12kg capacity.
What accessories are included with the Leo?
The Leo includes over $300 worth of accessories, including adaptors, rain covers, UV covers, a seat liner, handlebar bag, harness covers and belly bars (depending on the package selected).
What is included in the box?
Your package includes the stroller frame, wheels, seat or bassinets (depending on the option chosen), adaptors and a generous range of included accessories. The exact contents vary between the Bassinet + Seat Set and the Two Seat Set.
Is the handlebar adjustable?
Yes. The Leo features a telescopic handlebar that adjusts between 100cm and 112cm, making it comfortable for parents of different heights.
Can I use a baby capsule with the Leo?
Yes. The Leo is compatible with a range of popular baby capsules using the appropriate adaptors, allowing easy transfers from the car to the pram.
Can I use my Milo bassinet/seat/capsule adaptors on Leo?
No, the Milo and Leo have different connector points and therefore their seats, bassinets and car capsule adaptors are not compatible.
What is the difference between the Leo and Milo2?
The Leo is designed for growing families and converts into a double pram, while the Milo2 is a lightweight full-size single pram. The Leo has larger wheels, greater carrying capacity and room for two children, whereas the Milo2 is lighter, more compact and has a newborn-approved flat-lay seat.
What is the difference between the Leo and Pixi?
The Leo is a full-size convertible single-to-double pram built for everyday family life. The Pixi is an ultra-compact travel stroller designed for portability and holidays. If you need one pram to grow with your family, choose the Leo. If you’re looking for a lightweight travel stroller, Pixi is the better fit.
Why is the Leo such good value?
The Leo includes many accessories that are optional extras with other brands, while offering the flexibility of a premium single-to-double pram. Because we sell directly to families, we can invest more in product quality and included features rather than retail mark-ups.
What does direct-to-consumer mean?
Direct-to-consumer means we sell directly to you rather than through traditional retailers. By removing retail mark-ups, we’re able to include more accessories, premium materials and competitive pricing without compromising on quality.
Is the Leo worth buying?
If you’re planning to have more than one child or simply want the flexibility of a pram that grows with your family, the Leo offers outstanding long-term value. Rather than replacing your pram as your family expands, the Leo adapts with you through every stage.
Is the Leo the best value single-to-double pram?
Yes, we think so! We believe the Leo offers some of the strongest value in the Australian market. It combines true single-to-double functionality, over 48 configurations, full-sized seats, premium accessories included, a 3-year warranty and 100-day free returns, all at a price significantly below many premium competitors.
How long will the Leo last my family?
The Leo is designed to be the only pram many families need. It takes you from your first baby through to siblings or twins with interchangeable seats, bassinets, capsules and a toddler board. With seat capacities up to 20kg, it can comfortably be used from birth through the toddler years. Depending on how many children you have and the age gaps you could use Leo for 6 years or more and we back the quality and reliability of the product to last you.
Can I buy the second seat later?
Yes. Many families start with the single configuration and purchase the second seat when they need it. This allows you to future-proof your first pram without paying for accessories before you’re ready. If you want to buy everything you need all at once, then the best variant to buy is the “Bassinet + Two Seat Set” this means once your second child is out of the bassinet and ready for the seat you have it ready to go.
Which Leo configuration is best for two under two?
The Leo is a great pram for two under two. The best configuration depends on the ages of your children.
For most families with two under two, we recommend:
Newborn + toddler: Upper bassinet and lower seat, keeping your newborn closer while giving your toddler easy access.
Two toddlers: Two full-sized seats, with each seat independently reclining for naps.
Newborn + capsule: Capsule on top with the toddler in the lower seat facing outward for quick trips and school drop-offs.
With more than 48 possible configurations, the Leo can be adjusted as your children grow and their needs change, making it a pram that evolves with your family.
What is a capsule and do I need one?
When transporting a baby by car you will either need a convertible car seat (typically 0-4 years) that remains fixed in your car or you can use a baby capsule. These will have a base that is fixed in the car, however, you can easily unclip the capsule to remove bub from the car without needing to wake them. You can then carry them inside or if you purchase a set of compatible car capsule adaptors, you can attach the capsule to your pram. These typically come in 0-6 month or 0-12 month options.
Safety note: before choosing to use a car capsule instead of a bassinet, please note that capsules have a maximum useage limit of around 2 hours so if you plan to be out and about for a long time, you’ll just need to take them out of the capsule to give them a break. This is because capsules put babies spines into a curved or “c-shape” position which can reduce the amount of oxygen they’re receiving.
