Frequently asked questions
Is the Milo2 suitable from birth?
Yes. The Milo2 is suitable from birth thanks to its fully flat recline. You can use it with the included newborn insert, or choose the bassinet if you prefer a dedicated sleeping space for your newborn.
Do I need the bassinet?
Not necessarily. The fully flat seat is newborn approved, so many parents use the stroller seat from day one. The bassinet provides additional comfort and convenience during the first few months but isn’t essential.
What age can my child use the Milo2 until?
The stroller seat is suitable up to 22kg, which is typically around 4 years of age, depending on your child’s height and weight.
What type of family does the Milo2 suit?
First time, expecting families looking for a pram that will make their life easier from 0-4 years. A full sized single pram is the most common choice for first time, expecting families.
Those looking for a pram that ticks all the boxes and will actually make their life easier, not harder. A pram that’s easy and compact to fold, easy to use, as light as possible whilst not compromising on sturdiness or comfort and of course looks great too!
Those looking for versatility with their newborn with the option to use a car capsule, bassinet or straight onto the flat-lay seat.
Can I return the Milo2 if it isn’t right for my family?
Yes. Milly + Coup offers a 100-day free return policy, so you can try the pram at home with confidence.
Is the Milo2 suitable for tall parents?
Yes. The adjustable handlebar has 11 height positions ranging from 89cm to 105.5cm, allowing parents of different heights to find a comfortable pushing position. Tall parents tell us they love Milo2 because the back axel doesn’t sit too far back, so you can take long strides and not knock the back of the pram with your foot. What a win!
Is the Milo2 suitable for short parents?
Yes. The adjustable handlebar can be lowered to suit shorter parents, making the Milo2 comfortable to push regardless of your height. This is also a super easy pram to lift and fold for shorter parents as you don’t need to reach over to lift up. This should be a key consideration when looking at different prams!
How much does the Milo2 weigh?
The frame and seat weigh just 10kg, making it one of the lightest full-sized prams available. The frame alone weighs 7.2kg.
Will the Milo2 fit in a small car?
Yes. The compact fold (73 × 58.5 × 33.5cm with the seat attached in world-facing mode) means it fits comfortably in most hatchbacks and SUVs.
Can you fold the Milo2 with the seat attached?
Yes. One of the Milo2’s standout features is that it folds with the seat attached in both parent-facing and world-facing positions.
Can I push the Milo2 with one hand?
Yes. Thanks to its lightweight frame and balanced design, the Milo2 is easy to steer one-handed across most everyday surfaces.
Is the Milo2 good for rough terrain?
The Milo2 performs well on footpaths, parks, gravel paths and grass. If you regularly tackle beaches or hiking trails, the Leo may be the better choice due to its larger wheels.
How much can the basket hold?
The extra-large basket holds up to 12kg, making it ideal for nappy bags, groceries and everyday essentials.
Can the Milo2 convert into a double pram?
No. The Milo2 is designed as a single stroller. If you plan to have children close together, the Leo is designed to convert from a single to a double with more than 30 configurations.
Can I add a toddler board?
Yes. The Milo2 is compatible with the optional toddler board, allowing an older child (approximately 2+ years) to ride along.
What baby capsules are compatible with the Milo2?
The Milo2 is compatible with selected Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Joie, Cybex, Britax, Bugaboo and Mother’s Choice capsules when used with the appropriate Milo capsule adaptors.
Can the Milo2 be used as a travel system?
Yes. Simply attach a compatible baby capsule using the Milo capsule adaptors for quick transfers between the car and stroller.
What accessories are included with the Milo2?
The Milo2 includes:
• Infant support set
• Seat liner
• Handlebar bag
• Harness covers
• Belly bar
• Infant UV cover
The bassinet set also includes the bassinet and bassinet adaptors.
Is the handlebar adjustable?
Yes. The handlebar has 11 height positions, adjusting from 89cm to 105.5cm to comfortably suit parents of different heights.
Is the Milo2 easy to fold?
Yes. The Milo2 is designed with one of the most compact folds in its category and folds with the seat attached in either parent-facing or world-facing mode. That means less time removing seats and more time getting on with your day. It’s a two-handed fold, but you can lift with only one hand which makes it super easy to carry alongside a baby or other bags and into your car.
Can the Milo2 fit through standard doorways?
Yes. At approximately 58.5cm wide, the Milo2 comfortably fits through standard residential and commercial doorways, making it easy to navigate shopping centres, cafés and lifts. It is a great inner city pram, and perfect for those living in small homes or apartments where storage and space is tight.
Is the Milo2 cabin approved for flights?
No. The Milo2 is a full-size pram and is too large for airline carry-on baggage requirements. However you can always check it in as it is a great pram to travel with due to its easy fold and compact size in car boots. If you’re looking for a stroller designed specifically for airline carry on, we’d recommend the Pixi, which has been designed with an ultra-compact fold that fits into most overhead lockers (subject to airline policies).
Can the Milo2 be used without the bassinet?
Absolutely. The Milo2 features a fully flat, newborn-safe seat, so you can use it from birth without purchasing a bassinet. Many families choose to use the seat with the included newborn insert from day one, while others prefer the additional comfort and protection of the optional bassinet. The other thing to consider is harnessing, in a bassinet you don’t need to buckle your baby in, whereas on a seat the baby must be harnessed in at all times. The great thing about milo2 is you have the option, if you’re short on space you can use the seat one day for your newborn, and then the next day on a big walk you can swap to the bassinet! We love the versatility.
Can you machine wash the seat liner?
Yes. The included seat liner is machine washable, making it easy to keep your pram looking fresh after everyday spills and messes. We recommend following the care instructions provided with your pram.
What is the difference between the Milo2 and Leo?
The Milo2 is our lightweight full-size single pram, while the Leo is our single-to-double pram designed for growing families. The Milo2 is lighter, more compact and features a newborn-safe flat-lay seat, making it ideal for first-time parents wanting a simple everyday pram. The Leo converts from a single to a double with over 48 configurations and features larger wheels that are better suited to families expecting their second child, twins, or wanting to future proof for a future second child
What is the difference between Milo2 and Pixi?
The Milo2 is a full-size everyday pram designed to take your family from birth to around 4 years with maximum comfort, storage and features. The Pixi is an ultra-compact travel stroller that’s perfect for holidays, quick errands and families looking for a lightweight second pram. If you want one pram to do everything, choose the Milo2. If portability is your priority, the Pixi is the better option.
What makes the Milo2 different from other prams?
The Milo2 was designed around a simple philosophy: include the features parents actually use and make it elevated and practical. Rather than paying extra for essential accessories or compromising on everyday convenience, the Milo2 combines thoughtful design, premium quality and exceptional value in one lightweight full-size pram.
Some of the features that set the Milo2 apart include:
• Lightweight full-size design at just 10kg, making it easier to lift, steer and pack away than many comparable full-size prams.
• Suitable from birth, with a fully flat recline that can be used with or without the optional bassinet.
• Folds with the seat attached in both parent-facing and world-facing positions, saving time when you’re on the go.
• Compact fold, making it easy to fit into most car boots without sacrificing comfort or storage.
• Premium accessories included, such as a seat liner, newborn insert, handlebar bag, UV cover and belly bar—items that are often optional extras with other brands.
• Large shopping basket with easy access for everyday essentials.
• Adjustable handlebar with 11 height positions to suit parents of different heights.
• Direct-to-consumer value, allowing us to invest more in product quality and included features rather than retail mark-ups.
• 3-year warranty and 100-day free returns, giving you confidence in your purchase.
Whether you’re navigating city streets, heading to the park or packing the car for a weekend away, the Milo2 is designed to make everyday parenting simpler, with premium features, practical design and exceptional value.
Does the Milo2 come with a warranty?
Yes. Every Milo2 is backed by a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.
Is the Milo2 worth buying?
We say absolutely! If you’re looking for a lightweight, full-size pram with premium features at an affordable price, the Milo2 offers exceptional value. It includes a range of accessories that many brands charge extra for, folds with the seat attached in either direction, features a newborn-approved flat-lay seat, holds up to 12kg in the basket and is backed by a 3-year warranty and 100-day free returns.
Does the Milo2 come assembled?
The Milo2 arrives mostly assembled. You’ll simply need to click the wheels into place and attach a few components before you’re ready to stroll. Setup is quick and straightforward, with easy-to-follow manuals and video guides available online.
How long does it take to assemble?
Most families can have their Milo2 assembled in under 10 minutes. No specialist tools are required, and our step-by-step setup videos make the process simple.
Can the wheels be removed for storage?
Yes. The front and rear wheels can be removed if you need to create extra space when storing the pram or packing it into a smaller car boot. The wheels are super easy to clip off, so if you’re trying to get your Milo2 into a tight car boot they can be clipped off quickly, no tools needed. The easy wheel removal also makes it simple if you want to clean or do any maintenance on the wheel hubs.
What colours does the Milo2 come in?
The Milo2 is currently available in four colours: Black Luxe (which is a black handlebar, black fabrics, black frame with a touch of gold tubing), Sand (which is a brown handlebar, black frame and sand fabrics) and Green (which is a black handlebar, black frame, olive green fabrics) Black (which is a brown handlebar, black fabrics, black frame). Each colour pairs premium fabrics with stylish finishes designed to complement modern family life.
What is included in the box?
The Milo2 includes exceptional value straight out of the box. Depending on your chosen package, you’ll receive the stroller frame, seat, front and rear wheels, infant support set, reversible seat liner, handlebar bag, harness covers, belly bar, infant UV cover and, with the bassinet package, the bassinet and bassinet adaptors.
Is the Milo2 suitable for Australian footpaths and parks?
Yes. The Milo2 has been designed for everyday Australian life, handling footpaths, shopping centres, parks and grass with ease. Its puncture-proof wheels, lightweight frame and one-handed steering make it ideal for daily adventures. Although its not positioned as an off-road pram, it can handle occasional mixed terrain no problem. If you were primarily using this pram on sand or off-road, it may be worth considering a pram with even larger wheels and purpose built of off-road.
Why is the Milo2 such good value?
We’ve built the Milo2 to include the features parents actually use, without add on features which you may not value or use day-to-day. We are also a direct to consumer business, by selling directly to Australian families, we cut out the retailer margins, distributor margins and we’re able to include premium features, quality materials, a generous accessories package, a 3-year warranty and 100-day free returns while offering outstanding value.
What is direct to consumer?
Direct-to-consumer means we sell directly to you rather than through traditional retail stores. By removing extra distribution and retail mark-ups, we can invest more into product quality and included accessories while keeping our prices competitive. You’re getting the same quality as leading international pram brands, however you’re saving on the mark ups. Now that is a smart pram purchase.
Is the Milo2 the best value full size pram on the market?
Yes, we think so. We believe the Milo2 delivers the strongest value in the Australian market. It combines a lightweight 10kg frame, newborn-approved flat-lay seat, compact fold with the seat attached in either direction, premium accessories included, a 3-year warranty and 100-day free returns, all at a highly competitive price point. Ultimately, the best pram is the one that suits your family’s needs and lifestyle, but if you’re looking for a smart buy the Milo2 has to be on your list. We have also won numerous awards which list us as the best pram in its category – so we aren’t the only ones saying it!
Is the Milo2 the best pram under $1000 in Australia?
The Milo2 has been designed to offer premium features usually found in more expensive prams, while remaining under the $1,000 price point. If you’re looking for a lightweight, full-size pram that’s suitable from birth, folds compactly, includes premium accessories and offers excellent value, the Milo2 is an outstanding option to consider. And according to the Bounty parents awards the Milo2 has been nominated and won awards several years in a row.
Is Milo2 the best pram to buy?
The best pram depends on your family’s lifestyle. But if you’re looking for a lightweight, full-size single pram that’s easy to fold, suitable from birth, packed with practical features and built to last we say Yes the Milo2 is the best pram to buy. For growing families expecting two children, or their second child the Leo may be a better fit, while frequent travellers may prefer the compact Pixi.
What is a baby capsule and do I need one?
When transporting a baby by car you will either need a convertible car seat (typically 0-4 years) that remains fixed in your car or you can use a baby capsule. These will have a base that is fixed in the car, however, you can easily unclip the capsule to remove bub from the car without needing to wake them. You can then carry them inside or if you purchase a set of compatible car capsule adaptors, you can attach the capsule to your pram. These typically come in 0-6 month or 0-12 month options.
