The Pixi has been designed with an ultra-compact fold to fit in overhead lockers. Most carriers will allow it, however we recommend checking with your specific airline at the check-in desk as they each have different requirements for carry-on luggage.

Note: Damage incurred to your Pixi stroller as a result of airline travel is not covered by our warranty. We recommend checking if your airline covers any potential damage incurred.

Pixi has been tested by industry leading laboratory Intertek. It complies with the Australian Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007 and the more onerous AS 2088:2022 voluntary standard. We do additional toxicity testing so you can rest assured our products are free from nasties and as safe as they can be.

Is the Pixi suitable from birth?

Yes. The forward-facing seat reclines fully flat, making it suitable from birth. Many travel prams don’t – so this is a real bonus. You can also purchase the optional Parent-Facing Newborn Pack if you’d like your baby to face you during the first six months.

Do I need the Parent-Facing Newborn Pack?

No. The fully flat stroller seat is newborn approved. The Parent-Facing Newborn Pack is an optional accessory for parents who prefer to keep their newborn facing them during the first six months.

Can older children use the Pixi?

Yes. The Pixi supports children up to 22kg, making it suitable from birth through to approximately five years, depending on your child’s height and weight.

Is the Pixi cabin or carry-on approved?

Can I take the Pixi on a plane?

Yes. The Pixi is designed specifically for travel and folds down to just 58 × 45 × 25cm. It also includes a carry bag, making it easy to take through airports and onto most flights. Always check your airline’s carry-on policy before travelling.

Does the Pixi fit in the overhead locker?

In most cases, yes. The Pixi has been designed to fit into overhead lockers on many airlines. As cabin baggage policies vary, we recommend confirming dimensions with your airline before departure.

Is the Pixi easy to carry through airports?

Absolutely. At just 6.5kg, the Pixi is lightweight enough to carry one-handed and includes a travel carry bag and ergonomic carry handle, making airport transfers simple.

Can the Parent-Facing Newborn Pack sit upright?

No. It’s designed as a permanently flat sleeping space for babies from birth to around six months. We also know the best position for newborns is completely flat to aid their hip and spine development. Once your baby is ready to sit more upright, simply transition to the stroller seat.

Is the handlebar adjustable?

No. To keep the Pixi as lightweight and compact as possible, the handlebar is fixed at an ergonomic height of 100cm.

How much can the Pixi carry?

The Pixi seat supports children up to 22kg, while the shopping basket holds up to 5kg of everyday essentials. And the stroller is only 6.5kg! so light.

Is the seat fully flat?

Yes. The stroller seat reclines completely flat, making it suitable for newborns and comfortable for naps for little or big ones while you’re out and about.

Can the Pixi replace a full-size stroller?

For many families, yes. The Pixi is suitable from birth, supports children up to 22kg and is perfect for shopping centres, cafés, holidays and everyday errands. However, if you regularly walk on rough terrain, carry lots of shopping or want larger wheels and suspension for daily long walks, a full-size stroller like the Milo2 or Leo may be a better fit.

Does the Pixi fit in a small car?

Absolutely. With a compact folded size of just 58 × 45 × 25cm, the Pixi easily fits into the boots of most hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs, while leaving plenty of room for luggage or groceries.

Can the Pixi be pushed with one hand?

Yes. At just 6.5kg, the Pixi is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, making one-handed steering around shops, airports and footpaths simple for most parents. Its compact design makes everyday use effortless.

Can I use the Pixi as my everyday stroller?

Yes. Many families use the Pixi as their only stroller thanks to its fully flat recline, lightweight design and generous 22kg seat capacity. If you regularly walk on rough terrain or need a larger shopping basket, a full-size stroller like the Milo2 or Leo may be better suited. Another pro-tip from our families is to have a full size stroller for your big walks and big days out, and your compact travel stroller in the car ready for those quick trips and ducking down to the shops on whim, you don’t need to fit your bigger pram in the boot with all of your shopping.

Can I use the Pixi as my main stroller from birth?

Of course you can! And you’ll enjoy the benefits of an ultra light, ultra compact stroller, making life a lot easier. However, the downsides will be:

• Travel strollers have very small wheels which mean they won’t handle uneven terrain as well as a full-sized single and making it less comfy for bub and more difficult to push for you.
• If you purchase the Pixi newborn seat you can have bub facing from birth, however, as soon as they no longer want to lay flat, you’ll have to move to the stroller seat which faces forwards only.

Is the Pixi good for shopping centres and cafés?

Absolutely. Its compact footprint, lightweight frame and easy manoeuvrability make it ideal for navigating busy shopping centres, restaurants and cafés. It is an inner-city dream. Once you start using a travel pram, you’ll quickly learn how convenient they are for quick everyday errands.

Is the Pixi suitable for parks?

The Pixi handles footpaths, shopping centres and smooth park paths with ease. As a travel stroller with compact wheels, it isn’t designed for frequent off-road use or rough terrain. For those conditions, we’d recommend the Milo2 or Leo.

Yes. Similar to the stroller seat, the parent-facing newborn pack folds one handed and very easily. You don’t need to unbutton, or unzip or fold anything. Simply release the Velcro and collapse the frame in one step with one hand. Its so easy. Check out our social accounts for fold videos!

What is the Parent-Facing Newborn Pack?

The Parent-Facing Newborn Pack is an optional accessory that transforms the Pixi into a parent-facing newborn stroller for babies from birth to around 6 months. If you buy this option you will get the stroller seat and the parent facing newborn pack and one frame. The stroller seat fabric and newborn pack fabric both come off and can be used interchangeably.
Unlike the standard stroller seat, which is forward-facing but reclines completely flat, the Parent-Facing Newborn Pack lets your baby face you during those early months. It’s designed as a permanently flat sleeping surface, giving parents the reassurance of maintaining eye contact and staying close to their newborn while out and about.
The Newborn Pack includes:
A parent-facing flat-bed suitable from birth to approximately 6 months
A dedicated UV cover for added sun protection
Once your baby starts showing signs of wanting to sit upright, you simply remove the Newborn Pack fabrics from the frame and reattach the standard Pixi stroller seat. Both options are safe for newborns, the choice comes down to whether you prefer your baby to be parent-facing during the first few months.

Do I need the parent facing newborn pack?

The forward-facing stroller seat fully reclines to a flat position, making it suitable to use from birth.

The Newborn Pack gives you the option to have your baby parent-facing for the first 6 months — ideal if you'd prefer to keep an eye on them during those early days.

The Pixi Cocoon adds extra warmth and protection for babies up to 6 months. It can be used with both the parent-facing Newborn Pack and the fully reclined forward-facing stroller seat. It also includes a removable head cushion for extra comfort and support.

All options are safe and comfortable for your newborn, it's simply personal preference!  

Please note: The Cocoon is only suitable for use with the forward-facing stroller seat when fully reclined. The Cocoon and Newborn Pack are suitable for newborns to 6 months.
